SECRETS Although the secrets section is not 100% complete, we've managed to locate a wealth of secrets and surprises. There are a total of sixty-eight secrets, but as of now, the guide lists thirty one secrets. When you're scouring through the game for secrets, remember that every section of the level has a secret, and some of them can only be unlocked with the help of an additional player.
Presented below is a detailed secrets list in chronological order. The list includes concept art, fatality inputs, movies, versus mode stages, and characters. The two items not included are instructions on how to unlock Sub-Zero and Scorpion. To unlock Sub Zero, beat the game with Kung Lao and to unlock Scorpion beat it with Liu Kang.
Goro's Lair

Arena Art Right at the beginning of the stage, find a hanging skeleton on the wall and break it by launching an Oni into it.

Fatality Input image Secret is high above the skeleton pile. You must have the wall climb or double jump ability to reach it.

Concept Art The ledge with the secret can only be reached by jumping down on it from the top bridge. Use a little hop jump to get down onto the platform.

Goro's lair unlocked in Versus Mode. You must have two players to solve this puzzle. Both players must throw or launch enemies into a giant bell.

Concept Art Throw an Oni up into the chandelier. The chandelier will crash down with a secret.

Concept Art Perform a long jump to clear the gap and walk towards the rope bridge. Pan the camera out to see the secret on lower right of the platform and then jump down to get it.

Wu-Shi Academy

Arena Art Go to the first gate and launch the mask guard into the spiked catapults and he'll unmask the hidden secret. Clear the barricade by launching a Taraka into the catapult. Once the barricade is cleared, take the left fork and knock a Taraka into the pile of rocks.

Arena Art Before attempting this puzzle, you must have the double jump ability. Knock an enemy into the spikes and use it as a jumping platform to attain the secret.

Johnny Cage is unlocked in Versus Mode After the last "Test your Might" challenges, pan out the camera and spot the secret right below the column. Get on the ledge and perform a long jump onto the adjacent building's roof. From the roof, jump into the building to grab the secret.

Wu Shi Arena unlocked in Versus Mode You will need an ally to complete this puzzle.

Portal

Wastelands stage unlocked for Versus mode. You must have two players to solve this puzzle.
